Happy Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is an annual observance honouring mothers, motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. Celebrations of mothers and motherhood have existed in many cultures, including festivals in ancient Greece and Rome and the Christian tradition of Mothering Sunday. Modern forms of Mother’s Day developed through several religious and civic movements. The date and customs vary worldwide, with many countries observing the occasion in March or May.
